This is announced in CTiA Show in Las Vegas, One can make free calls to other skype users as long as he is connected to a wifi Network. Through native iPhone client from Skype one can make free calls to other Skype users and can also do cheap calling through SkypeOut.
The CNet got a good look at this, and comes to conclusion that its missing text messaging, file transfer and integrated voicemail. It also didnt have an integrated way to pay for additional SkypeOut credit. This is surely an appropriate use of the recently announced incremental – billing platform available through iTunes.
Iphone couldn’t run more then one application one time, which leads to make multi-functional applications, such as Fring or NimBuzz, more popular. These Applications come integrate with multiple messaging and VoIP networks, including Skype.
Nimbuzz and Fring routes connections through their own servers, so the connection between the handset and those proxies isn’t using Skype’s technology. Which Skype reckons means lower quality calling and greater latency, but we won’t know that until one uses it and gives us some feedbacks.
With all this reviews, feedbacks and drawbacks, users will still download skype on their Iphones.

i am using the skype on my iphone its the same but the latest version is yet to come for iphones as that compared for the pc’s
