Betamax has once again launched a new VOIP service called ActionVoip .
By launching this new service it has added more variety to their existing VOIP offering. The main aspect of this new VOIP service ActionVoip is of course to offer the best and most cheapest calling rates to India.
The calling rates to India have reached a rock bottom price. The price war for calling India began when VOIP providers such as Nymgo, Mediaringtalk lowered their call rates to India. Nymgo offered a price of 1.3cents/min in comparison with Mediaringtalk 1.7 cents/min.
In a very short period ,ActionVoip gained lot of popularity. As it is quite common for betamax to change its calling rates, but this time ActionVoip has lowered their call rates to India.
Betamax has again managed to lower down the prices to a rock bottom .07 cents per minute. For the first time ever, calling India is cheaper than 1 cent per minute which means you can call India at around 35 paise per minute, which is cheaper than a local call in India lol
ActionVoip is also offering very cheap phone calls to Pakistan. ActionVoip is charging just 6.6 cents/min to both Pakistan landline and Mobiles. Calling rates to Pakistan have been high in recent past and many providers charge above 10 cents for calls to Pakistan. However, ActionVoip is at presently offering such low rate calls to Pakistan which is really amazing.

Stunserver (option) : Enter it as ‘stun.actionvoip.com’
In order to take advantage and make use of all of the advanced features of the Actionvoip and to experience the best sound quality possible, the following configuration is being recommended.
Recommended System Requirements:
· PC running Windows Vista, XP, 2000 (with SP2) is recommended for this purpose.
· 1 GHz processor is suggested
· 256 MB RAM recommended.
· 30 MB free space on your hard drive will help a lot.
· Full duplex sound card (most sound cards made after 1998), headset with a built in microphone

One can use SIP on other betamax services however not all betamax VOIP services offer this option. VoipHit is only one offering a exclusive SIP based service.
